my main idea is i would like to see some upgrades for us poor miners in our very expencive but very poorly defended ships one of the main upgrades i would like to see is the idea of making mining lasers able to strip mine other ships in combat after all we often get shot at with no way to shoot back other than the use of drones would also like to see some defencive equipment thats is only for mining ships use like a version of the warp core stabalizers that dont reduce your targetting range and the best idea saved till last a capital ship exhumer made strictly for low sec and 0.0 space mining.
this is for us miners who never got any upgrades or new ships :)

now then to explain a basic idea of how the mining lasers work against other ships.
1) make the mining lasers run at about 25% of normal speeds when shooting other ships
2) make the damage spread across the shields, armour and hull simultaniously in effect shaking the ships apart like an asteroid
After all these lasers wreck asteroids so wrecking a ship should just be as easy.

the videos are irrelevant to the point that we miners want to mine not have hulks armed with actual lasers but to be able to use our strip miners to strip a ship in exactly the same way that they strip asteroids away after all ships are made of the very stuff that comes out of the roids are they not ?? so why is it then we cant strip mine ships who attack also ??

if its a case of the shields can block the effects of lasers then the amarr are up the creek without a paddle aint they :)

im on about how they use lasers dopey s**t man some people can be so stupid sometimes try reading whats wrote and then try understanding whats wrote before making stupid assed comments.

it does say features and ideas discussion forum not sarcasm or stupid comments discussion.
hence i wrote an idea might not be a popular idea but its still an idea.
i'll guarantee that the ones that shout the loudest against the ideas of mining and industrial ships getting any upgrades or abilities to be able to fight back are the ones who like seeing lots of undefended ships kills on their kill boards to beef up the total isk lost sections.

id like to point out there is more than just the idea for the mining lasers to work on ships there is the idea of making some modules specific to mining ships also like a stab that doesnt reduce optimal ranges and the need for a much tougher class of mining ship for the more dangerous areas of space outside of high sec.
